Bespoke Glass Door Canopy

Bespoke Canopy Systems for Businesses and Institutions

Brand image and brand identity are both extremely important for any business or institution, in both the private and public sectors. Effective logos, designs and colour schemes should allow people to instantly recognise and identify products, services or properties as belonging to that particular organisation. The greater the attention to seemingly-irrelevant detail in achieving and reinforcing this effect, then arguably the stronger the customer engagement with the organisation, and therefore the greater the attraction and loyalty. A consistent, blanket-applied brand image and identity can also do much to foster trust in the professionalism and competence of a business or institution.

Take, for example, the everyday outdoor awnings and canopies dotted around premises such as schools, offices, shops or surgeries. If you are a parent looking for a school in which to place your child, for example, then quite often the decision on which school to pick can boil down to a gut feeling. In such a competitive environment, schools need to sell their unique attributes as much as they can. Subtle differences you may not even be aware of can make a decisive difference. Every fine detail needs to be studied to see if a school can make itself more eye-catching, and the school architecture is undoubtedly one of these subtle details. Why, for example, use door canopies that rest on simple steel legs, when one can have canopies that rest on legs shaped, designed and coloured to look like pencils? A simple, yet very effective and extremely worthwhile method of reinforcing the notion that the school in question is an environment committed to learning and top-quality teaching.

Thanks to our bespoke service, based on our in-house manufacturing capabilities and organised around specific customer needs, we can, for example, offer canopies for schools designed around premises such as these. DioMet offer a range of canopies for sale which can boost the brand image, and thus the customer attractiveness, of your business or institution, in order to drive sales or encourage customers to choose you. The team are more than willing to listen to any idea regarding shape, material, colour and any other feature. If, for example, you wish the front door canopies of your business premises to be fitted with LED lights to ensure your brand colour stands out clearly at night, then DioMet can accommodate this. We are also able to fashion materials into all shapes and sizes to suit your particular design needs, as well as colour match the finish of our canopies to your premises to a specific RAL code or BS number.

Stainless steel, manufactured to marine grade for external use and either brushed to 320 grit or mirror polished prior to dispatch, is the primary material used by DioMet to fashion the framework of its canopies. Alternatively, wrought iron is also an option available. Wrought iron/mild steel canopies can be finished in a variety of manners to protect against weathering, depending on your particular needs – you can apply primer paint yourself, or rely on DioMet for a professionally-applied galvanised, or galvanised and powdercoated finish. Non-powdercoated galvanised finishes are provided as standard and can maintain your canopy against the elements for up to 25 years.

DioMet also offers a variety of cover materials for its canopies. Toughened glass canopies are a particularly popular choice among our customers, as they provide a particularly attractive modern and contemporary edge to your business premises. We use 8mm toughened safety glass as standard, can shape the glass to a variety of angles and designs, and offer a range of colour, tint, laminate and frosting options to match your requirements. Where using glass is impractical or prohibitively expensive for your particular project, we also offerpolycarbonate and acrylic covers for our canopies. Acrylic canopies are particularly useful for curved canopy projects on a budget, as the acrylic can be used to replace the comparatively far more expensive glass and yet allow for much the same effect. Acrylic projects may be of particular interest therefore to small business or public bodies.
