Case Study - Harborne Central Birmingham
Overview
The development is located in the heart of Harborne High Street, Birmingham on a site that was previously a car dealership. This large development comprises 16 townhouses and 64 apartments as well as incorporating 2500 sq ft commercial unit. The houses / flats were launched onto the market in Oct 2009 and have proved to be very popular in this highly sought after victorian village location.

Linford Group took over this development from Birmingham Properties Group after they went into administration. DioMet's work in this project has been extensive and we have contributed vastly to an overall very popular. modern and aesthetically pleasing development :
External Balustrade + Juliet Balcony Railings
Extensive areas of infill bar mild steel balustrades were installed to patios, terraces and shared garden communal areas.The juliet balconies were of varying design some of which included infill bars and others had toughened glass panels giving a fantastic visually diverse and modern effect. The powdercoated finish was maintained throughout the whole project.
We manufactured and installed. double level decked walk-out balconies with frosted glass infills for privacy. A superb overall effect.
Canopy
Completely bespoke designed canopies in mild steel, galvanised and powder coated finish.
DioMet produced two canopies each of which incorporated balustrade railings and staircase handrail banisters.
Other
All townhouse roofs were fitted with a mixture of stainless steel wire balustrades, handrails, glass panels etc all made to suit their individual setting and circumstances.
We also produced gates, low level railings, car park barriers to complete an overall very impressive steelwork package.
