Heavy Duty Construction: Built with robust 12mm solid steel infill bars and 42mm tubular top and bottom handrails.
Sizing Logic: Our standard design extends 150mm wider than the door opening on each side to ensure a secure structural fix into the masonry- Check our PDF Drawing.
Weather Protection: Features a hard wearing galvanized finish as standard. You can also upgrade to a variety of powder coated colours to match your window frames or style preferences.

Certifications and Compliance

BS EN 1090-2 Certified: Our Yale balconies are fully UKCA certified to BS EN 1090-2 standards. This incorporates the requirements of BS6180 for 0.74kN loading at 1100mm high for residential use.
The Compliance Gap: Be aware that many competitors claim "building regulation compliance," but this is not the same as having the mandatory UKCA certification, which is a legal requirement. Without the correct BS EN 1090-2 accreditation, a product may not be legally fit for purpose. This may not satisfy building control as the Declaration of Performance (DoP) certificate is required for final sign off. A lack of proper certification could stop a house completion or sale and may even invalidate insurance
