316 stainless steel glass clamp brackets for 21.5mm toughened laminated glass, brushed finish. The heaviest laminate in our balustrade range.

21.5mm is our commercial specification for external frameless balustrades — the same arrangement as a domestic frameless run but built for the heavier loadings that come with public use: offices, hotels, apartment blocks, viewing platforms.

Material and where it can go

316 stainless steel, brushed finish. 316 is the marine grade — it is what you want outdoors, and it is what we would specify near the coast. Suitable for internal and external use alike.

All our fittings are 316 stainless unless the listing says otherwise. Where a fitting is plated steel rather than stainless we say so plainly, because the two look identical and only one of them belongs outside.

Fixing

Fixes to timber, steel or masonry with a concealed fixing behind the clamp body. Rubber inserts pack the glass and take up tolerance.

These take our 21.5mm toughened laminated glass — two 10mm panes bonded with a 1.5mm interlayer.
