• Socket Option: Add a galvanised steel ground socket (500mm long, 50x50mm square) for removable use; concrete it into the ground for a permanent hold (not a hammer-in type, dig and set in concrete).

Basic Installation Directions- Your stainless steel post installation is easy and works for most home setups:

1. Dig a hole to the right depth (around 500mm for stability).
2. Place the post or socket, make sure it's level, and secure with concrete.
3. Use Postcrete for quick setting in 5-10 minutes.
4. Attach your washing line to the tie-bars.
5. Wait at least 24 hours before using it.

Maintenance Tips

Stainless steel cleans up easily but needs regular wiping to stay in top condition; we suggest a mild soap and water routine every few months.

Accessories

A galvanised ground socket makes the post removable rather than concreted in. Alongside it we do steel core washing line, a retractable line, a line prop and heavy duty metal pegs.

Made in our own workshop

Stainless costs more than the imported painted poles sold online, and it should. There is no coating to chip and nothing to repaint, and the wall is 2mm against the under 1mm typical of imports. Made in our own Sheffield workshop, by a family firm trading over 35 years.
