25.5mm Walk-On Floor Glass Panel (Made to Measure)

Structural walk-on floor glass, cut to your size. This is our 25.5mm toughened and laminated panel, supplied as glass only, ready to seat into your own opening or frame. If you need the panel complete with a steel support frame, see our walk-on glass floor with steel framework.

Build and finish

25.5mm toughened and laminated glass: two 12mm toughened panels bonded together
All edges polished as standard, with a 5mm radius to each corner

Non-slip options

Glass underfoot can be slippery, so for anything walked on regularly we recommend a non-slip finish:

Checkerplate top layer: a raised, sandblasted checkerplate texture on the top panel, the highest grip option
Invisible non-slip coating: a clear chemical treatment, lasting around five years, that reaches a Pendulum Test Value (PTV) of 68 against the 36 needed to count as low slip risk in the dry (best when dry; take care on wet glass)

Border and condensation options

Back-painted border: a painted edge to hide the seated edge of the glass and any silicone or adhesive
Ritec anti-condensation coating: applied to the underside, it helps condensation run off; it reduces rather than stops condensation, so treat the cause too

Need a different thickness?

Bigger spans need thicker glass. We make the same walk-on floor glass in 21.5mm, 31.5mm, 33mm and 39mm. The right thickness depends on the size, location, building use and how the glass is supported. Our glass floor building regulations guide explains when each applies, and it remains the customer's responsibility to confirm the glass meets their own building control requirements (a structural glass engineer can advise on anything unusual).

Made to order

All panels are made to order, usually ready in about 4 weeks. Once you order, the glass goes into production and our team arranges delivery when it is ready. On a budget, also check our stock glass panels.

We ship worldwide. As each panel is cut to size, overseas delivery is quoted per order: send us your sizes and delivery address and we will price suitable crating and freight.
