Garden Railings and Gate Sheffield
Steel Garden railings and gate.
Dio-Met Fabrications Ltd have recently surveyed, designed, supplied and installed decorative metal fencing rails and a matching steel gate for a private customer in the Sheffield area. These garden railings were purchased by our client to create a physical boundary to keep their small Jack Russell dog safe within the confines of the patio area. The metal railings chosen also incorporated a lockable hinged gate allowing access into the garden and provided a higher level of security to the area.
The low-level patio railings were designed in such a manner that kept all gaps in the steelwork to a minimum of 80mm as per our client’s request. We don’t know if they measured their dog, but this gap was deemed appropriate to keep him secure within the area!
The railings were simplistic in design with a few added ornate feature details to maintain a traditional look without being too plain; they were hot-dip galvanized to prevent any rusting and then powdercoated matt black for the final top-coat finish.
Installation of the fencing was straightforward; core-drill and grout fixing the posts into the existing upstand wall, providing a finished height circa 1metre to keep little Jack from jumping over and chasing the neighbours cats.
