Here at Dio-Met Fabrications we know the value of our steel and the British steel industry in particular.  After all, we’re based in Sheffield, internationally known as a city with a strong reputation for steel production, manipulation and fabrication. 

The city of Sheffield is our home and has been the base of our steel fabrication workshop since  day one and since the beginning DioMet have been able to grow though decades of innovation and adaptation to the steelwork industry. Unfortunately for Sheffield,  Forgemasters is now the only remaining independent steel works in the world but retains a  global reputation for producing the largest and most complex steel castings and forging in Europe.

At DioMet, our products are fabricated from mild steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium and all of our products are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1090-1 and carry the CE Mark which proves compliance with European and UK standards - we do things by the book and have built an enviable reputation nationwide for quality and service of our steelwork. Steel is the heart of our business and it saddens us deeply to watch the rapid decline of the industry around us, falling short to Chinese imports. What better time to buy British?
