• UKCA Certified Steelwork: Unlike many bespoke "blacksmith" solutions, our support steelwork is fully UKCA certified. This is a legal requirement for structural metalwork in the UK, ensuring that the frame holding the glass is engineered to meet specific load-bearing standards.

• Invisible Non-Slip Treatment: Safety is paramount in a kitchen environment. Our walk-on glass features an advanced, invisible non-slip treatment. This maintains the crystal-clear view of the cellar below while providing the necessary grip to prevent accidents, even in a high-traffic area.

• Factory-Calibrated Precision: Every door is shipped fully assembled. The gas-strut tension is calibrated to the specific weight of the glass, ensuring the door "floats" and remains easy to operate for a lifetime. Each wine cellar door is individually calibrated for optimum performacnce and fully tested.

Arriving at the current design required extensive testing of hinge pivot points, gas-strut pressure curves, and steel frame deflection rates.
