2013 RHS Tatton Park Flower Show
Some of our work will feature at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show on 25th to 28th July 2013. We have worked alongside garden designer Phil Hirst to create the ‘Stainless Century Garden’ which includes an impressive 3 metre tall stainless steel arched pergola, decorative stainless steel wall panels and a central water feature.
The design concept is to celebrate the Centenary of the invention of stainless steel in Sheffield by Harry Brearley.
Dio-Met's involvement was to manufacture the central feature pergola, wall art and central river flow steelwork from raw materials and satin polish to a high standard, showcasing what is possible with stainless steel materials
The meticulous design process allowed for a smooth manufacture with some impressive results :

The garden has won the GOLD MEDAL for Best Large Garden. DioMet are pleased to offer our congratulations to designer Phil Hirst on this achievement, glad we could play a part.
The garden / flower show only is only held over the weekend so afterwards the whole construction will be dismantled and rebuilt by Sanctuary Group at a new retirement project in Stocksbridge.
