DioMet’s range of handrailing components are designed with simplicity in mind and used to form a mind-blowing range of balustrade designs and handrail systems. The individual components are combined with stainless steel tubes which are all then simply cut and bonded together to form a range of DIY friendly designs that give a professional finish.

The vast majority of fittings and components found in our online web shop are grade 316G stainless steel material which is suitable for both internal and external use and satin polished- although we are able to supply all fittings in a mirror polished finish if required.

For those that are not comfortable with the manufacture and assembly process involved in cutting, drilling, glue-fitting and polishing stainless steel we of course offer this as a full service- in fact, around 90% of our customers opt for this option- so if you can’t find the right part, require a pre-manufactured product or your project requires a little more design assistance contact our team today for help.

Our Most Popular Fittings

Stainless steel glass clamps – Our number one seller by a long shot, these clamps are used in conjunction with our 8 or 10mm toughened glass panels to create a vast range of projects, the most popular being outdoor patio balustrades and indoor glass stair renovations. Flat back clamps are the standard fitting however our clamps are also available as 90 degree corners or inline clamps to secure glass panels together at 180 degrees.

Larger clamps are also available for use with laminated glass 13.5mm and 17.5mm thick.

Handrail brackets - Any change in level within a property, commercial or private, will invariably mean the introduction of a ramp or staircase. Every set of steps will require a handrail for access and egress to meet the current level of requirements on safety. Even where a minimalist finish is required, a handrail should be used and built into the design. Our handrail brackets are used in conjunction with various wooden top rails, or supplied with our pre-assembled stair handrails.

Stand Off / Point Fixings – Glass standoff fixings are a small but powerful balustrade fixing clamp used in a range of ways but usually to create a frameless glass balustrade system that is structurally sound. The stand-offs can be used on large balconies, Juliets, balustrades and staircases that are side-mounted to the steel or concrete ring-beam or structural timber framework.

Our stand-off fixings are available in different offset distances and designed with both structural integrity and unobtrusive visual aesthetics in mind.
