Our client had seen online a large table and bench set and wanted to replicate the design but in higher quality materials. The ‘off the shelf’ table set she had seen was made up with veneer trims rather than solid wood, so we made a custom solid oak table and bench set to order…………
You just can’t beat a huge lump of real, solid oak; it’s oozes quality and provides a luxury finish that just cannot be matched by veneer or laminate alternatives. The table and bench set was custom made for our client Angela in Sheffield after she saw something similar online, complete with chunky powdercoated steel support legs to complete the look.
Angela had recently had her kitchen completed by a local independent installer and wanted to match the 40mm oak worktops with a large dining room table and bench set. After a quick search online she found her reputable local fabrication company and the rest is history……
The oak table is 1800 x 1000mm and exceptionally heavy so required some robust steel support legs to prop up the weight. The table and bench were finished with Danish oil and the steelwork frames powdercoated in anthracite grey with the final finish being simple, effective and modern.
