Bespoke Metal Staircase

DioMet have recently completed a bespoke staircase balustrade in Sheffield for our private customer Jackie. The project required bespoke design and fabrication of criss-cross pattern metal stair railings installed to a galleried landing area.

Jackie sent us a photo of a similar design she had seen online and asked us to replicate it for her own staircase, landings and ramps….. Bespoke fabrication? No problem.

The design was created with box section steel uprights, laser cut 12mm thick infill panels and ‘D’ bar top handrail all of which was powdercoated and then installed to an existing steel staircase structure. The criss-cross effect of the panels provides a modern twist on a classic railing design.

The staircase balustrade is just one aspect of the works as we are currently constructing a bespoke steel framework and structural glass floor panels for Jackie, as well as an additional handrail all to be installed in the coming weeks.
