Dio-Met Fabrications Ltd have been trading for over 30 years and have no plans to go anywhere soon! We work for the general public but also for some of the biggest construction companies in the UK including BAM, Kier, GF Tomlinsons, Wilmott Dixon, Lindum Construction, Vinci and more!
Dio-Met are a family run business with various relations throughout the company from directors and office staff to the shop floor fabricators and site fitters and most staff have worked here for many, many years!
- Quality
We have two externally audited quality procedures; BS1090 and ISO9001. Both require that an external audit is performed to ensure all quality control is in check. We can track and trace where each piece of material came from, which fabricator manufactured each piece or product and even which roll of welding wire was used. All our fabricators are fully qualified and weld-certified.
We manufacture our own products in our Sheffield workshop and never use subcontract fitters in order to keep control of our own quality and service. We have our own individual stainless steel workshop to seperate our works and avoid any cross-contamination of metals. No product will leave our workshop until fully checked and signed off by our quality control operators.

Our customer service is second to none. Get a quick quote, fast replies to queries and we’re always at the end of the phone to talk. We know the pain of dealing with slow, lax companies who are not on the ball and that just isn’t us.
- Compliance
Our structural products (balustrades, staircases, balconies etc) are fully building regulation compliant (unless otherwise noted) and supplied with the correct UKC marked documentation for building control sign off to BS EN 1090-2. Not meeting these standards is not only non-compliant but actually illegal. More info here.
We do not pretend to be perfect (don’t be fooled by anybody who says they are!) and although most jobs are seamless due to our quality control procedures, there can occasionally be an unforeseen hiccup. If there is ever a problem, you will be our priority and we’ll do everything in our power to rectify any errors quickly and efficiently. We are an honest, hard-working business not afraid to hold up our hands when we are at fault and this, we truly believe is what makes us a great company.
