42mm mild steel tubular handrail, hot dip galvanised and then powder coated. This is the external one — the galvanising underneath is what stops it rusting, and the powder coat gives you the colour on top. Any shade from the dropdown, or ask for a bespoke variation.

Inside or outside?

That is the whole decision on a painted handrail. Galvanised then powder coated goes outside; powder coat alone does not, because once the paint is chipped there is nothing protecting the steel. If the rail is going in a stairwell or a hallway, our powder coated internal wall rail costs less and does the same job. More on our material and finish standards page.
