10mm low iron toughened glass, cut to your sizes. Low iron glass has less of the green tinge you see in ordinary float glass, which shows most on a polished edge.

Is it worth the extra?

Honestly, often not. It costs more than standard clear, and the difference is subtle — noticeable when the two are side by side, much less so on its own. It gets specified because a designer or architect has asked for it; most people would not know to.

Where it does earn its money is anywhere an edge is on show and being looked at closely — a frameless panel, a table top, a splashback behind a pale wall. If the glass is going into a framed system where the edges are hidden, 10mm clear toughened will do the same job for less.

Widths and heights are priced here, or send us your sizes. It can be supplied drilled, shaped, notched or with radius corners, all specified up front — toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled after it has been through the furnace. All edges polished, corners with a 5mm radius as standard.
