Our customer Maarten simply placed an order online for a custom sized 25.5mm toughened and laminated glass floor panel and after delivery kindly forwarded a completed picture of the installation. Maarten had designed the walk-on glass flooring into a composite decked patio area which was integrated with a Koi Carp fish pond.

The pond extends underneath a section of the decking and allows the fish to swim around underneath the walk-on glass panel to create a unique feature and viewing window.

The walk on glass panel order comprised :

• 25.5mm toughened and laminated glazed panel
• 50mm black painted glass border
• Non-slip treatment to top side
• Ritec coated to underside

The online order was processed and shipped from our Sheffield based workshop to Maarten all the way down in Devon via specialist pallet courier.

All our walk on glass panels and  steel frameworks are designed to be fully building regulation compliant to BS EN 1991-1-1 2002 Actions on Structures and supplied with a UKCA Declaration of Conformity to BS1090.
