We recently had the pleasure of completing a stunning glass balustrade installation project at KDR Resin Systems' reception location in Stourbridge. The result is a beautiful and modern staircase that adds a touch of sophistication to the entire space.
The Challenge
The project required a high level of precision and attention to detail, as the glass balustrade needed to be carefully designed and installed to complement the existing steel spine staircase and chunky oak treads. Our team worked closely with the client, arranged a site survey to take accurate dimensions to ensure that every aspect of the installation met their expectations.
The Solution
We designed,supplied and installed a frameless side mounting glass balustrade that perfectly complements the sleek lines of the steel spine staircase. The chunky oak treads add a warm and inviting touch to the space, while the glass balustrade provides a sense of openness and airiness. The result is a seamless blend of modern and traditional elements that creates a truly unique and stylish look. The glass used is 17.5mm toughened and laminated to meet the safety requirements of BS6180 (and a handrail has been advised to the external wall for access)
The design used was our ever popular side fixed System 7 glass balustrade which is both simple and effective.
