Glass Privacy Balustrade – Wiltshire
Frosted (opaque) glass panels were supplied and installed between brick piers and topped with stainless steel handrails to complete this garden patio and increase privacy and provide a wind barrier.
Our most recent installation was for our client Terence in Wiltshire who required a glass solution to provide both privacy and a safety barrier for his patio area between newly installed brick piers.
10mm toughened satin (frosted) glass was installed with our stainless steel glazing clamps between the upstand brick piers and topped with brushed finish stainless steel handrails. The opaque glass offers a high level of privacy but also allows light transfer.
Dio-Met were contracted to survey, design, manufacture and install the glass privacy screens and additional handrails to various sets of steps around the patio. The overall finish is simple and effective; providing functional fall barriers and the requested level of privacy from neighbours.
