Our washing line posts are green!
Well, they’re actually black as standard but as the manufacturer, we can paint them green if you prefer! These heavy duty clothes line posts are however environmentally friendly in that :
- All our poles are manufactured in the UK, in our Sheffield workshops- not imported like some of the flimsy alternatives on the market, shipped over on gas-guzzling mega tankers.
- Not only are our steel posts made in Sheffield, all raw materials are sourced from our local Sheffield suppliers and all external processes (galvanizing and powdercoating) are undertaken a stones throw away from our premises. Even the packaging is bought locally.
- Our heavy duty washing line poles are made to last- these beauties are going to last for many years to come without bending, snapping or rusting. We detest the ‘throw-away society’ of products with a short life-expectancy. Maybe our posts will cost a bit more initially, but you won’t be replacing them after a light breeze.
We have a wide range of heavy duty steel washing line poles available via our webshop in different designs, finishes and sizes- with accessories such as wall brackets, pulleys and washing lines also available. The majority of our poles are kept in stock for quick dispatch however we also make-to-order longer poles, or indeed can offer posts with bespoke variations when required.
