As steel fabricators, here at Dio-Met Fabrications Ltd we create a wide range of products for everyone from individual customers, trade clients and builders to some of the biggest construction companies in the UK. Our online presence has developed over several years and with it, our eCommerce platform and web shop for purchasing some of our standard, or stocked products.

Surprisingly one of our most popular products is our heavy-duty washing line post, or flagstaff pole / clothes line post as some people may refer to them. We started with a basic, heavy duty version to give customers the chance to buy and use something more substantial and suitable than some of the nasty, paper thin and flimsy imports that are sold by larger retailers and our range developed from there.

All our heavy duty flagstaff posts are made in one length of steel and never supplied to joint together and built from thick steel tubing or box sections to provide a solid, dependable post to hang heavy loads of washing from in high winds, or support tensioned shade-sail systems over garden terraces. To protect against the elements the posts are galvanized and where chosen, powdercoated. As the manufacturer, we also regularly produce bespoke variations to suit individual customer requests including multi-line systems, bird feeding plates, or hanging basket attachments.

The majority of these flagstaff poles are 2.5metres long however in some variations we also stock a 3metre option- although as described above, being the manufacturer allows us to create longer or shorter versions for customers when required.

Stock washing line posts are available for immediate collection or delivery Nationwide within a few days. Bespoke versions typically take 2-3 weeks to complete.
