If you own a high end property then it is more than likely that you will want high end security to protect it. In fact more and more wealthy families are willing to spend thousands on protecting their home and possessions. It works in the same way as your car door; press a button on your key and your door is locked or unlocked. The more high tech designs even lock automatically when you have moved more than 200 metres away so as long as you take your key out with then you know your home is safe.
But what if the home isn’t the only place where you keep your valuables? Have you ever thought about the things that you keep in your shed or garage? Perhaps you have got a range of expensive tools, a valuable pushbike or even a motorbike. You may want to keep these as safe and secure as the items in the home but what are the security options?

If you use an internet based CCTV product then people could hack in and find out where you keep your valuables so this is something you will need to be aware of when purchasing the product.
So, is this entire expensive tech worth it? Yes and No. It will no doubt put your mind at ease to know your home and garden are under such protection but a physical hard lock, which a criminal cannot break, would be more than adequate to secure your belongings. As long as you use common sense, lock your doors and close your windows then you may feel it’s better to save your money.
