For this large-scale project in Chesterfield, the objective was to facilitate the safe, high-frequency transfer of palletized goods across multiple elevated mezzanine levels. Working with a tier-one contractor like Henry Boot requires strict adherence to industrial standards, ensuring every gate provides a permanent safety barrier that never leaves the operator exposed to the edge.

• Continuous Guarding: The gate utilizes a counter-balanced pivoting mechanism. When the gate is open for loading, the operator is barred from the edge. When the pallet is being retrieved, the edge gate is closed.

• Modular "No-Weld" Design: Utilizing a key-clamp tube and fitting system allowed for a rapid installation across multiple floor levels without the need for "Hot Work Permits," a significant advantage on active construction sites.

• Corrosion Resistance: The system is constructed from hot-dip galvanized steel tubing (BS EN ISO 1461), ensuring durability in high-traffic warehouse environments.
