Dio-Met have now become a leading supplier of toughened glass products ranging from small individual glass shelves, to full glass balustrade systems and laminated walk-on floor glass.
Although DioMet are predominantly a specialist steelwork manufacturer, the vast majority of our work includes some form of glazing and as such we have quickly adapted to the glazing industry as a whole. Our latest product of which is the toughened glass fire hearth.
Glass hearths are used to support a free-standing gas or electric fire and provide protection to the carpet or flooring. Often a feature now seen in modern houses, these glass hearths are not only practical but also make an attractive feature and central focal point to a room. The glass hearths are 12mm thick as standard and can be made to various sizes and shapes as required by each individual customer.
