Steel Access Staircase - Bristol
Steel Access Staircase - Bristol
“This bespoke metal fire-escape staircase was supplied and installed for our client in Bristol. This powdercoated black steel staircase and railing system provides access to the upper floor flats of the main building from the rear of the property and is fully building regulation compliant…..”
Our client required a replacement steel staircase to make the access to his rented residential flats safe as the old steps had deteriorated significantly. The new metal steps were required to be functional as a fire-escape, low maintenance and long lasting; and of course, building regulation compliant.
DioMet provided a full service from start to finish including site survey, steel staircase fabrication, installation and removal of the existing steps. The new staircase includes a large landing area and is a bespoke configuration to suit the tight space available. All open sides are guarded with a basic metal railing / balustrade design.
The stair is heavy duty steel construction with non-slip checkerplate treads and landings, traditional infill bar style balustrading; all hot-dip galvanized and powdercoated in black.
All our staircases are designed to the relevant building regulations (dependant on building use) and certified with a UKCA Declaration of Performance as required for building control sign-off. Each bespoke staircase is fabricated in our workshops in Sheffield using locally sourced raw materials and only ever installed by our own fitting team- never subcontractors.
To further ensure perfect fitment, every steel staircase we manufacture is fully trial built in our fabrication shop so whether installed by ourselves or delivered for assembly by others, we can ensure full quality control and customer satisfaction.
