Our customer Phil requested the supply and installation of a modern-styled walkout balcony system leading from his new french doors on the rear elevation of the property, overlooking the back garden.

Dio-Met completed a full service of site survey, design, manufacture and installation of this first floor steel and glass balcony system, which comprises :

• Box section steel posts and ring beams
• Steel joists with anthracite composite decking planks
• Frameless channel glass balustrade with 17.5mm toughened and laminated glass
• Frosted privacy glazing to neighbouring side
• All base metalwork galvanized and powdercoated light grey

All Dio-Met walkout balconies are fully building regulation compliant and supplied with UKCA certification for building control sign-off. Each walk-out balcony is produced in our very own Sheffield-based workshops using locally sourced raw materials and either supplied for self-assembly or installed by our very own team- we never use subcontract fitters.
