Working with our customers
Help Us to Help You!
If you’ve had a good look at our website you’ll already have seen that Dio-Met offer a huge range of home-enhancing installations and DIY services that can be used either on a private or public basis. You may have also seen that we pride ourselves on our dedicated bespoke service and our personal approach to client queries. We feel it’s this that has helped us remain a popular choice with consumers up and down the country along with our fantastic range of fixtures and fittings. Many of our handrails, balustrades, glass canopies and other steelwork products can be simply purchased online in our standard sizes and finishes but often our customers have a more varied need and make use of our bespoke service to accomodate.
So if you’re looking to benefit from our celebrated bespoke service, it’s very important that we ask for certain information and detail from you ahead of making a start on your project. No matter the building, the size of the project nor what you may need us for, it’s imperative that we have a really clear picture from you early on in the process.
As we involve all our customers as closely as possible when it comes to drawing up designs, we will of course need an initial floor plan and set of dimensions so that we can estimate costs, labour, time and practicality. While we aim to work with any home or commercial space that is willing to discuss taking on our services, it’s important that our team of experts are aware of where they can be flexible and where they can really make your ideas shine. It’s with this, particularly if you are looking to take full advantage of our bespoke service, that we will be able to give you a more concrete idea of the pricing and your expectations when it comes to the finished project. It’s all about keeping you in the loop, and with your help early on, we can keep things as clear and as open as possible.
If you’d like to help us out even further, any extra detail is excellent – if you’re able to sketch up an extended floor plan to scale or offer and expanded sketch from alternate perspectives that would be useful, but not always necessary. If you’re unable to provide sketches or feel that it may be more useful to provide photographic evidence, we will also be happy to consider any photos that you can provide of the areas you’d like work applied to. While there are benefits of realism in providing photographs we will also require a sense of dimension and space so that we can cut things to the correct shape. If providing photo evidence, please therefore consider annotating photographs with relevant dimensions for our use.
While we aim to work with our customers as closely as possible to make sure that we provide a five star service from start to finish, it’s also important that we get as clear a picture as possible from you before we can start work – certainly for your sake in the long run!
