Replacing Metal Railings With Glass

Traditional metal railings form a perfectly safe and practical guarding system but can often create a ‘prison bar’ effect that does not offer the most pleasing environment for your home and garden. Many homeowners across the country are looking to refurbish their balcony areas and enhance their outdoor space and often the first material that springs to mind is glass;  because glass is widely associated as a luxury and contemporary building material.

There are many reasons to upgrade to a glass balustrade system but the main three benefits are :

See below a recent example of an installation in Sheffield where DioMet surveyed, designed, manufactured and installed a new glass balustrade after removing and disposing of the existing metal railings.
