The most popular design walk-out balcony system going through our workshop this year is our steel framed balcony with glass balustrading. This balcony comprises a galvanized and powdercoated steel support structure with matching glazed balustrading to the perimeter- as the manufacturer we also offer variations on the balustrade with many customers opting for a contrasting stainless steel and glass alternative.

Although we offer balcony guide pricing online and allow walk-out balconies to be purchased through our ecommerce website, the vast majority of our balcony systems are actually a bespoke variation on what is available to ‘buy online’. Generally our clients will require a made-to-measure balcony that extends to the height, width and depth they desire and regularly with optional extras such as composite decked flooring or balustrade variations. Many also opt for a site survey and full professional installation.

Below is an example walk-out balcony project completed last week for our customer Kim in Derby with before, during and after photos. The balcony comprised galvanized and powdercoated support steelwork in anthracite grey RAL 7016 with stainless steel and glass balustrading and composite decked flooring. DioMet designed, supplied and installed this balcony system.
