If ordering a glass balustrade online, you might not initially consider how such items might be supplied to you. Our stainless steel and glass balcony balustrade system is by far our most popular product and is supplied with fully assembled posts and predrilled handrails to make installation a doddle. We do know however some other suppliers will simply supply a box full of bits that require building up yourselves, or by your installer, potentially costing many additional hours of work- and in some cases without even drilling and tapping the handrails……

Our latest example picture has just been sent to us by a delighted client on the outskirts of London, who installed our glass balustrade kit to a new patio area. The posts were concreted into the patio area and paved around afterwards- this is not actually something we see very often, but a clever alternative to core-drill fixing the balustrade which might deter some installers who are not used to this method, or don’t have the appropriate core drilling equipment.

For the most part, a glass balustrade system can offer a professional and luxurious finish to a patio edge that simply isn’t achievable with traditional timber or metal railings. Bespoke variations are dealt with easily and this modular system, along with our manufacturing capacity is what allows us to be extremely flexible with design and not reliant on standard sizes, or fixed size glass panels as can be seen at the lower quality end of the market.
