Whether you have longed for a wine cellar in your floor for years, or stumbled upon our hinged floor system by accident, we’re glad you’re here as we love it, and want you to have one too!

Our latest customer to provide photos of their completed installation is Dave, from Sheffield, who installed the hinged floor system into a corner of his kitchen for storing wine and beers- he added lights to the area below to really show off his stash with style.

These hinged glass door systems are supplied as a fully assembled unit ready to install and consist of bespoke fabricated steel framing with toughened and laminated walk-on glass floor panel set within. The glass is structurally rated for domestic use, and entirely safe to walk on. We use a flush-fitting handle for access and the whole inner frame and glass is lifted up, aided by the gas-strut actuators and held open securely to safely access the storage area below.

All of our hinged glass floor systems are made in our workshop in Sheffield for customer collection, or dispatched all around the UK (and beyond by prior arrangement only- these have gone all around the world now!) 

Our client Dave has installed a small set of steps beneath the glass to provide access to his wine and locally brewed beers from the Bradfield Brewery in Sheffield. He was kind enough to send through some photos, and a lovely testimonial :
