Fed up of your boring basement door floor hatch? Most traditional basement or cellar doors that are built into the floor are the same timber design, generally with a matching floor covering on top- Ok, but dull. Now how about using our walk-on glass panel set within a hinged opening unit instead!? Oh yeah……

Ok, we are of course totally biased but we do think this looks pretty awesome! This customer totally renovated their kitchen area and built in one of our bespoke hinged glass floor systems into the centre of the floor area. The glass floor system covers the basement void and provides a lovely modern feature, with functional opening access to the cellar below.

Our client Maria contacted us online and we arranged to produce the item and ship via courier to the Netherlands for her to install. She sent us this photo and commented :
