Our most recent project was completed for our client Sheila in Plymouth, a returning customer who was adding more glass balustrades to her property, this time around a swimming pool area. Being both coastal and set surrounding a swimming pool , this is the ultimate kryptonite environment for stainless steel however as with anything, with the correct materials and adequate maintenance, the products will last a lifetime.

Sheila required a side-mounted stainless steel and glass balustrade to a new patio area that encloses a swimming pool, complete with a matching glass access gate (lockable) to secure the area from children and pets when required.

The balustade system used was a mirror polished version of our highly popular Stainless Steel and Glass Balustrade System 1 which uses tubular posts and handrails with clear glass infill panels. 

The retaining patio wall had an irregular crank for which bespoke glass clamps were fabricated and used in conjunction with ‘flag’ panels of glass and an adjustable handrail joint used to provide a continuous guard rail.

All of our stainless steel products listed online (presently) are brushed finish stainless steel as this is by far the most popular finish however as with this example, the materials can also be supplied in mirror polished stainless steel at an additional cost, please just ask!
