Steel access staircase manufactured for our customer in Whirlow (Sheffield) complete with glass and stainless-steel balustrades. These powdercoated external metal garden stairs replaced an old rotten timber set of steps leading upto a raised patio area……

Our client Duncan got in contact to purchase glass balustrades in order to make his raised garden area safe for his grandchildren and to protect them from the 6ft drop down to the lower garden.

The original timber staircase that led upto the raised patio level had seen better days, to say the least, and it was also decided that this would be replaced with a new steel staircase with matching glass balustrades.

Duncan opted for one of our most popular designs; Stainless Steel Glass Balustrade System 1 which comprises tubular stainless steel posts and handrails with clear toughened glass infills. The staircase was manufactured from galvanized and powdercoated steel, painted in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and complete with side-mounted matching glass balustrades.

The contrast between anthracite grey steelwork on the staircase and the modern glass balustrade design looks stunning and works to provide not only the functional safe access stair and fall barrier that was originally requested, but one that really enhances the visual appeal of the whole garden.

We undertook the survey, designed and manufactured the staircase and balustrade then delivered all items for the customer to install himself. Such products are simple to install for most general builders or tradesmen.

All our steelwork is fabricated in our Sheffield workshops with all metal and glass materials sourced from local suppliers in Yorkshire. Our products are dispatched and delivered throughout the whole UK and beyond by a network of different couriers- Contact us for a quote!
