Our custom hinged glass floor system was installed in this kitchen rennovation and leads down to a wine/plant cellar below. The unit features our streamline handle in the centre of the external frame border and discreet locking system in the lower right hand corner. The customer in this example created a timber joist opening for the wine cellar door to sit into and siimply required screwing around the perimeter once delivered as a fully assembled unit.
Our client chose to floor upto the cellar door with chunky flag stone tiles and the overall effect looks superb, photo below (photo credit to victorianmanse1877 on Instagram) and commented :
Absolutely love the bespoke wine/plant cellar hatch in the kitchen from @diometonline a 25.5mm thick toughened glass hatch you can walk on, usually when I’ve designed items with companies the spec or finish hasn’t been perfect but diomet hit it out the park 1st time, highly recommend them, we used @farmhouseflagstones tiles for the flag tile flooring too.
