The design of an internal stainless steel and glass balustrade system is identical to an external system however the materials used are typically 304G stainless steel rather than marine grade 316G which is more weather resistant.

Ian got in touch to arrange the removal and replacement of his old, wobbly and quite frankly dangerous timber balustrading with a new modern glass system with integrated handrail to steps. In order to provide a clean, fresh surface to fix to once the old system was removed, a new oak plinth was installed first. 

The attic / games room / man cave now looks much more sophisticated with the contemporary glass and stainless steel fittings whilst of course also providing a functional safety barrier and access handrail. The glass system also allows much better light transfer making the area seem larger and staircase / lower landing brighter.
