Stock Juliet Balconies
Need something quickly? We keep in stock two of our popular designs; our most basic metal ‘Yale’ balcony and our ‘Modern Style’ juliet, comprising stainless steel and glass infill panel. Both these stock balconies are available for immediate collection, or same day dispatch in most cases.
Our stock juliet balconies are held in the 4 most popular/ standard door sizes.
The simple Yale balcony comes galvanized finish as standard, but can also be powdercoated to any RAL colour in around 1 week.
Online Juliet Balcony Range
Our online range of juliet balconies includes various styles to suit most tastes from basic traditional metal designs or ornate detailed steel balconies to more modern and contemporary glass alternatives- usually used in conjunction with stainless steel, or fully frameless. Other than our two stock juliet systems all the other balconies seen in our webshop are made to order, with the lead times shown on the product page.
Bespoke Juliet Balconies
Dio-Met are steel fabrication experts, so everything we make is manufactured right here in our Sheffield workshops. Bespoke designs are a common request, as are variations on our standard designs. Seen something you like online? Send us a photo for a quotation on something similar.
For bespoke designs we request that our customers provide as much information as possible so we can assist including pictures, dimensions, drawings or sketches.
Step Out Juliet Balconies
Most typical juliet balconies will simply cover the doors to provide a safe guarding- however there can also be requirement for a slight increase in depth in order to decorate with planter pots, grow a herb garden or simply for maintenance- a small step out ledge will make cleaning windows an awful lot easier! Step out balconies can be made to project any distance from 1 foot, up to around a metre without requiring support posts.
Walk Out Juliet Balconies
The best way to maximise outdoor space is to add a walk-out-balcony system and these can extend to any width or depth required, usually with structural support posts to the ground. Additional raised first floor space can provide enhanced views of lovely gardens or allow greater enjoyment of a countryside view- especially when located on a hillside. Glass flooring can also be used to maintain light transfer to the area beneath the balcony.

All our balcony systems are fabricated in our Sheffield workshop and only ever installed by our own fitters- we never use sub-contractors.
The design and construction of each balcony will be dependant on its use as there are different requirements for domestic residences, shops, offices and industrial units.
Every balcony is provided with a Declaration of Performance (DoP) for building control sign off as is our legal obligation under CE marking regulation BS 1090-2.
