Design and development of our electric motorised hinged glass wine cellar door system has taken longer than expected but we’re delighted with the final result and now processing several pre-ordered items and taking new orders!
Our highly anticipated electric hinged glass floor recently completed it’s final round of testing and calibration and is now ready for general sale. A few customers placed pre-orders which are now nearing completion and new orders are being accepted for 2023 build slots.
Dio-Met have been a market leader in worldwide sales of our stunning hinged glass floor units which until now have been manually operated only with the assistance of gas strut actuators. We are however delighted to finally roll out our finished product, the DioMet Electric Hinged Glass Floor, which is already proving exceptionally popular!
Calibration of the electrical components to operate with some critical safety features has taken longer than we hoped, but the finished product is definitely worth the wait. The electric wine cellar door can be operated with the standard wall switch which has an integrated safety key override system or with optional remotes and key fobs. Critically the key fobs are also programmed to the key lock override as a failsafe safety feature and to provide complete peace of mind to the end user.
We also designed in an electrical sounder to further increase the safety of operation- although this has been integrated with a simple off switch for those who may feel this is an unnecessary feature and would be a personal preference depending on the intended use of the item.
As with our manual hinged glass floor system, the electric/ motorised wine cellar door is made to order and operates with a minimum size of 600 x 600mm and a maximum size of 2000 x 1000mm as a single opening unit. Larger systems can be made with integrated fixed panels if required.
