We are still going through very strange times with Covid-19 cases on the rise again in the UK and some serious economic fallout hitting our economy. Here at DioMet we have multiple measures in place to ensure our employees and customers stay safe and fingers crossed this terrible virus subsides sometime soon.

Thankfully, despite the testing conditions, we have managed to keep our entire workforce employed and continue to remain busy with multiple projects into the end of the summer season. Our glass balustrade systems remain as popular as ever and goods are flowing out of our workshop at a steady rate for either DIY assembly or indeed installed by our own fitting teams.

Below are a few examples from last week using our highly popular Stainless Steel and Glass Balustrade System 1 :

Example 1 : Supply-only in Rotherham

One of our employees neighbours required a nice glass balustrade design to enclose a newly constructed seating area with composite decking. The system was designed, manufactured and delivered for DIY assembly by the customer who commented on how easy the process was, and how well all the system fitted together.

Example 2 : Supply and Installation in Chesterfield

Our client Ray required a shortened version of our framed glass balustrade to sit on top of his parapet wall, surrounding a new raised patio area. The balustrade was core-drill and grout fixed into the wall and now provides a stunning, but practical safety barrier to the fall below.

Example 3 : Supply-only in Plymouth

Another brand new decked balcony area requiring a glass balustrade and this one was completed for our customer Andy in Plymouth who supplied the basic measurements for us to design, manufacture and deliver a side-fixed glass balustrade system to the patio and staircase. The views from the balcony area are stunning, and this glass system finishes off the build nicely.  

We simply quote this framed glass balustrade system by the metre with completely transparent pricing which can be seen on our online pricing tool for straight runs or with any amount of corners- although quoted by the metre, this system is made to suit your exact dimensions and therefore entirely bespoke- we do not use any ‘standard’ size panels.
