Frameless glass balustrade Surrey

Dio-Met have recently completed the survey, design and installation of a side fixed frameless glass balustrade system to a project in Fremsham, Surrey.

The design chosen was an adaptation of our very popular frameless glass balustrade system 7 which consists a very minimalistic design of round stainless steel patch fixings with toughened and laminated safety glass infill panels. Our customer was an architect and had carefully designed the balcony system with DioMet's assistance to include a frosted / opaque lower band on the glass to reduce the visibility of the timber joists behind the glazing once installed.

Opting for a laminated glass infill negates the requirement for a handrail and thus achieving the infinity glass balustrade impression that was required for this new build development. The overall effect is very much in keeping with the design of the property and compliments the build tastefully.

The same design was adpoted to the internal staircase and mezzanine floor as well as the large exterior balcony balustrade terrace area.
