Our customer Stephen came into our offices to discuss his balcony and balustrade requirements, leaving with an instant quotation. A few days later we surveyed the terrace area and sketched up the balustrade system in AutoCAD for his approval.

The glass balustrade system was completed over a course of 3-4 weeks and Dio-Met also undertook the installation as per Stephen’s request. The overall finish is modern, clean and aesthetically pleasing with the glass system now offering delightful views over the garden and countryside beyond.

The design used was our stainless steel glass balustrade System 1 which comprises :

• 48mm tubular steel upright baluster posts
• 42mm matching handrails
• 10mm clear toughened glass infills
• Side-mounted fixing plates
• All materials stainless steel, marine grade 316, brushed finish

Installation was completed in one day, and Stephen very kindly provided some finished pictures and a thankful message ‘Great job yesterday-thanks very much. Lovely bit of Sheffield Engineering in Dronfield!’
