Its only mid-March but glass balustrade season is already in full flow, our latest project being installed for our private customer Laura in High Green. This glass balustrade system was supplied and installed to a newly built raised patio area to provide a safe, attractive barrier for edge protection and wind deflection.

The baluster posts were core-drilled and grout fixed into the masonry walls around the perimeter of this newly laid patio area with a matching glass gate being used to one side, lockable to keep the young children safely enclosed.

DioMet completed a full service of site survey, design, manufacture and installation of this glass balustrade system which comprises:

• 48mm tubular upright baluster posts
• Proprietory glass clamping system
• 10mm clear toughened glass panels
• Core drill installation with base cover plates
• 42mm tubular handrails
• Matching glass gate, fully framed with lock
• All metalwork stainless steel, brushed finish, marine grade 316.

All our balustrades are fabricated in our own Sheffield workshops with materials and glass being sourced from other local suppliers in the Yorkshire area. We supply glass balustrade systems nationwide for DIY installation or offer such with our own fitting teams, never using subcontractors. Each balustrade is supplied with UKCA certification for building regulation sign off.
