Glass canopy Nottingham

Dio-Met have recently completed the design, supply and installation of 8no. modern glass door canopies to a residential housing project in central Nottingham. The glass canopy design chosen for the project was based around our standard T1 modern glass canopy but shorter in projection and complete with elongated support posts to the wall.

The extended stainless steel post design on this canopy was chosen for it's visual impact against the house entrance steps that protrudes into the area next to a path and could potentially cause a trip hazard. As an added bonus, the upright posts on the canopy also act as a grab rail for assisting entrance into the house when required.

The adapted glass canopy style also features a stainless steel drip ledge at the back. The drip ledge angle gives further support to the canopy but also blends in with the overall design and allows the back edge of the canopy to be silicone sealed without impacting on the aesthetics creating an attractive and watertight canopy system.
