Our heavy duty steel poles are used for a range of different applications including hanging out washing, erecting summer shade sails, hoisting flags at the Euros, outdoor lighting and hammock poles.
All our steel posts are fabricated in our workshops in Sheffield and distributed directly by courier all over the UK. Currently the longest item we can dispatch is 3.5metres although longer items can be made for collection or local delivery.
When creating a shade sail system like the photo below, it’s always best to use two higher poles (or other fixing surfaces) and one lower pole to form a slanted shade sail and cast a shadow in the preferred direction- this also allows rain run off when used with a waterproof shade sail system.
For external use and for longevity all our metal posts are galvanized and then Powdercoated in black paint (optional) . Our steel posts are made to last and supplied as one solid piece, never jointed.

Also available with our poles are metal ground sockets that can be cast into ground, making the posts removeable when not in use over winter for example.
