Modern Decking Balustrades

Our customer Peter in the Ecclesall area of Sheffield contacted us after obtaining a quotation via our online balustrade shop for a mixture of two balustrade designs; one run of wire rope style balustrade and another run of safety glass balustrading. 

Both balustrade styles were to be installed to a brand new decking platform in the customer’s garden and complete the landscaping project. The balustrades were designed, manufactured and installed by DioMet in around 3 weeks and completed images can be seen below :

Both balustrade styles use stainless steel upright baluster posts and handrails with matching base flanges. The wire rope system uses 4no. horizontal 4mm wires with adjustable turnbuckles and the glass system uses 10mm clear toughened glazing and is secured on ‘D’ clamps. A matching stainless steel handrail was also incorporated to the garden steps to provide safe access and egress.
