Powder-Coated Glass Balustrade System 10 (matching steel handrail)

A colour-matched glass balustrade in galvanised and powder-coated steel: the posts and the handrail are finished in the same colour, so the whole run reads as one, with 10mm toughened glass infill. Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) is the most popular choice, but it can be finished in any RAL colour to match your windows, doors or railings. It suits staircases, balconies, terraces, decking and landings, and the galvanised base makes it a solid choice outdoors. Buy it by the metre online or ask us for a bespoke made-to-measure quote. Everything is made at our Sheffield factory, supply-only as a self-install kit or installed by us anywhere in the UK.

Where System 5 tops the steel with a timber handrail and our System 1 is brushed stainless, System 10 keeps it all steel and all one colour. That makes it a cost-effective way to get a clean, modern glass balustrade in exactly the colour you want. Because the steel is galvanised first and then powder-coated, it is built to sit outside for the long haul. It is UKCA marked and building-regulation compliant.

Fitting it

The clamps and handrail connector arrive already on the posts, and the base plate has three fixing holes ready to bolt down, so a competent DIYer can put a straight run together from the fixing instructions supplied. Ring us any time if you get stuck. If you would sooner leave it to us, add installation to your quote and our team will fit it.

How to order

Pick your colour, meterage and corner count on the online calculator and place the order. We come back to you with a drawing to sign off, tweak anything that needs it, and only then does it go into the workshop, so there are no surprises when it turns up. Stairs, angled sections and one-off shapes are priced individually, so call 0114 243 9009 or drop us an enquiry for those.

Delivery and lead times

Lead times vary with the workshop schedule, so please ask when you enquire, and we will arrange delivery on a weekday that suits you.

International delivery

We ship worldwide. On made-to-measure runs we quote overseas carriage per order once we have the sizes and delivery address, crated to travel safely.

Looking after it

This one is about as low-maintenance as a balustrade gets. The galvanising underneath protects the steel for decades in the weather, and the powder-coat on top just needs the occasional wipe-down to keep its colour and finish.
