Our lovely stainless steel and glass balustrade System 1 is quite easily one of our most popular products and is dispatched nationwide for DIY installation on a daily basis and professionally installed by ourselves within a reasonable radius of Sheffield, this one however was just around the corner in Crosspool.
Wanting to ‘keep it local’ our client Susan came to us for a full service of survey, design, manufacture and installation of our stainless steel and glass balustrade system. What better place to live for obtaining some steelwork other than Sheffield, The Steel City!
Our modular framed stainless steel and glass balustrade system is a very popular design owing to its flexibility through a range of proprietary fittings that can be adapted to suit a variety of scenarios, and indeed how cost effective it can be for the stunning visual appeal it provides.
This particular example balustrade was pretty straightforward requiring two ‘L’ shape sections to form the safety barrier from top patio level to protect the fall to the lower garden area beneath. The posts in this system were core-drilled and grout fixed into concrete to achieve the most appropriate and stable fixing for this type of patio and finished off with a cover rose detail.
All our glass balustrade systems are fabricated in our own Sheffield workshops using locally sourced materials where possible. We only use our own fitting teams and never subcontract works to any other installers for total quality control and peace of mind.
