This recent project required a Dio-Met hinged glass floor system and powdercoated steel staircase to access the wine cellar basement. Both items were designed to fit together perfectly and shipped for DIY assembly. Click blog for info and pictures.

Our client Bradley from Wiltshire was undertaking a home renovation and required a custom sized Dio-Met hinged glass wine cellar door system with streamline handle and adjoining steel access staircase leading from kitchen to basement.

The steel staircase was a simple design with non-slip checkerplate treads all powdercoated in black and mounted underneath the glass access hatch, completed pictures below :

Our wine cellar door system comes complete with structural walk-on glass panel set within an opening hatch framework on gas-strut assisted actuators. Each hinged glass floor unit is made to order to custom sizes, although we do occasionally have a stock item available in our webshop.
