Designed to showcase a brick-lined well while allowing natural light to filter through, this project showcased our expertise in delivering tailored solutions for our clients. The challenge was to create a floor panel that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The client desired a glass cover that could be easily accessed for maintenance purposes while also providing a safe walking surface – essentially a variation of our Spiral Wine Cellar Door System
Our solution was a hinged glass floor panel, custom-built to the exact specifications of the well opening. The panel was equipped with gas struts for smooth and effortless opening, allowing full access to the well below. To accommodate the client’s specific requirements, we integrated the gas strut mechanism within the well itself, ensuring a seamless and unobtrusive design.
